It’s Raining, It’s Pouring…

 

Some weekends I enjoy it, most weekends I am annoyed.  On the weekends, I want to go outside and PLAY!  I want to go places, be outside, and run errands, all of which I despise doing in gloomy, rainy/snowy weather.  However, today I think I am enjoying the gloomy, rainy (potentially snowy) weather.  The hubby and I woke up a little later than normal, and we’ve thoroughly been enjoying a lazy morning that has consisted of coffee (for me) and waffles (for both of us).  And you better believe I had one of those amazing whole wheat pumpkin waffles I’ve been loving lately!  I am going to try to peel myself off the couch here in a bit to squeeze in a sweaty workout, but it might take a little while to get me there.  I’m pretty comfy at the moment.  Other than that, I have a feeling it will be a lazy, unproductive, Netflix watching kind of day. 

 

 

I DO have some plans to roast a chicken later today though…  Hopefully it will be a success and I can share it with you.  We also got some free movie tickets from a family at our church as a “thank you” gift to me recently, which we’ve been talking about using this evening.  Oh yes, and I just remembered the Cold Stone coupon we have on our refrigerator that I’ve been wanting to use…  Maybe we’ll break away from our living room this evening for a bit, but until then, here’s to a lazy day!
