Trainer Tuesday: 12 Days of Christmas (Repeat)

by Ashley on December 13, 2011

Welcome to this week’s edition of my Trainer Tuesday!  I am going to post a workout that I have posted in the past for a few good reasons.  First of all, obviously the title of the workout is totally fitting, right?  And technically there are only TWELVE more days ’til Christmas.  Did I really just say that?  I’m freaking out a little.  Second of all, it’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted this workout, and I definitely think it’s a “must see” for some of my newer readers.  Third of all, ok I don’t really know why else, but just go with it.

I rated this workout as beginner all the way to advanced because you can tweek it to make it easier or more challenging, depending on your fitness level.  To make it easier, don’t use weights and rest more between each exercise.  To make it more challenging, use (heavier) weights and go as fast as you can.  You can even go through the whole thing more than once if you’re wanting to make it more advanced.  Good luck, and as always, please feel free to comment or email me with any questions!

You should also check out my video on Lindsay’s Tuesday Trainer edition.  We’re focusing on rest over there this week – very important as well!  Whether you choose to make today a “12 Days of Christmas” day or a “rest day”, I hope it’s a fantastic one.  Catch ya’ll later!

Thank you for the workout! Especially around the holidays, it’s tempting to slack off. And during the times when I can’t run (thank you, rain) I can do this!

exactly! it’s super easy to do at home too since it doesn’t require much equipment.

And 12 days until Xmas left?! Yikes! Can’t believe how fast this month is flying by – thankfully I got all my presents done! Now I just need to wrap them and set under the tree ;)
