Is it totally starting to feel like fall or what?!
I’m finally getting into the fall spirit and put up a few fall decorations and baked my first pumpkin bread loaf of the season.
Cody took me on a little “surprise date” yesterday morning that got me even more into the fall mood. Our first stop was donuts at our favorite donut shop. Maple frosted long john + a coffee please!
Next up was a drive through the canyon to look at all of the leaves turning colors. It was so gorgeous! We had a nice time just chatting and taking in all of the beautiful views.
My fall spirit followed me as I was planning my meals for the week. Here’s what I have:
- Four Bean Vegetarian Chili with cornbread
- Creamy Cheddar Broccoli Bean Soup with Cheesy Italian Quick Bread
- Skinny Cheesy Chicken & Broccoli-Rice Casserole
- Butternut Squash Lasagna with green salad
- Leftovers/wing it
- Green bell pepper
- Red onion
- Green onions
- Butternut squash
- Sweet potatoes
- Ricotta cheese
- Whole wheat lasagna
- 2 cans white kidney beans
- 1 can great northern beans
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- Ground turkey
I also (tentatively) planned out my workout schedule for the week:
M – Cycle Tone class
Tu – Stroller walk/jog
W – Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones DVD
Th – Rest
F – Bootcamp Class

You may have noticed that I have a couple group fitness classes scheduled in there. I’m doing a trial pass at a nearby gym, so I plan on checking out the classes and childcare to see how it goes. I’ll decide from there if it’s a good fit for us. We don’t have a ton of gym options in our area, so I’m really hoping that both Hunter and I will like it!
Since the temperatures have dropped the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed that my drive to exercise has decreased, so I’m hoping a gym membership with some fun group fitness classes will help motivate me. I also want to continue to work towards my goal of becoming a group fitness instructor. I think the classes will be fun!
We have a busy Sunday – church, lunch with friends, and small group. Should be a good one!
